Dr. Sanjay Rana
Co-founder and the Managing Director of the company, Dr. Sanjay Rana, is a geophysicist working in the field of engineering geophysics for last 35 years. Dr. Rana graduated in 1990 from University of Roorkee, now IIT Roorkee, in M. Tech. Applied Geophysics, as Gold Medalist, following which he served with state government and central government (Department of Atomic Energy) for 05 years. Since 1995, he is working tirelessly towards growth of geophysical industry in the country, exploring new & unique application areas in various fields like hydropower, oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, etc. He has carried out geophysical investigations for more than 1500 projects in India and abroad. He has been instrumental in introducing various technologies in India including Ground Penetrating Radar, High Resolution Tomography, integrated dam safety investigations, Passive Seismic Tomography, etc.
Mr. P. S. Mukherjee
Mr. P. S. Mukherjee co-founded Parsan Overseas and has MBA, PGDIT (International Trade) qualifications. He has over 35 years of experience in the field of international trade, and has accomplished various projects in countries like Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, North Africa including Algeria, Mauritius, etc. He is involved in international expansion and strategic planning for the company.
Cdr. Ashutosh Kaushik
Cdr Kaushik is alumnus of IIT Roorkee and FMS, Delhi University. He is a naval veteran with more than 28 years of rich & varied experience in operational maintenance & project management. At PARSAN, he shoulders responsibilities of overall administration, field logistics and business development. He has also been an invaluable member for many challenging field campaigns.
Mr. Ajay Mishra
Mr. Ajay Mishra is General Manager Geophysics. He did his M.Sc. Tech. Applied Geophysics from ISM Dhanbad, 2000. He is part of Parsan team since 2007 and has worked on numerous assignments across the fields of surface geophysics for hydropower, infrastructure, dam safety, ground water and environment. He heads the team of geo-scientists for projects in the field of engineering geophysics.
Mr. Vivek Sharma
Mr. Vivek Sharma is Manager (GPR & SUE) at Parsan Overseas. He completed his B.Tech. from Kurukshetra University in 2005, and has also pursued PGDBA in marketing management from SCDL Pune. He has been an integral member of Parsan since 2010. He works in the field of Geodetic, Topographic, DGPS and Gravity Magnetic surveys, and detection of utilities, foundations, cavities through Ground Penetrating Radar. He leads the team of survey engineers & geoscientists for projects in the field of geodetic surveys, subsurface utility engineering, ground penetrating radar and bathymetry.
Dr. Abul Aas
Dr. Abul Aas is a geophysicist with over 5 years of experience in near-surface investigations, seismic interpretation, and geophysical innovation. He has contributed to major national programs including hydrocarbon appraisals (DGH, IHAP), groundwater exploration, MASW site characterization, and urban utility mapping. Notably, he developed a novel weight-drop seismic energy source for shallow imaging, published in the Journal of Applied Geophysics, strengthening Parsan’s applied R&D capabilities.
Ms. Priya Badyal
Ms. Priya Badyal is a Senior Geophysicist at Parsan Overseas Pvt. Ltd., bringing advanced expertise in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) processing and GPRslice interpretation. An M.Tech graduate in Applied Geophysics from Kurukshetra University (2003), she has been a vital part of the Parsan team since 2021. Priya's analytical skills and subsurface imaging proficiency significantly enhance our nearsurface geophysical investigations and project delivery.
Ms. Suchetana Banerjee
Ms. Suchetana Banerjee is a Senior Geoscientist and Executive Assistant to the Managing Director. A postgraduate from IIT Kharagpur, she brings interdisciplinary expertise spanning geotechnical analysis, scientific writing, and project coordination. With prior experience at Schlumberger, she contributes both technical depth and strategic insight to Parsan’s research, operations, and external collaborations, enhancing the company’s reach in geophysical investigations and scientific engagement.
Ms. Ronak Dahiya
Ronak Dahiya, is an accomplished Geophysicist, holding an M.Sc. (Tech.) in Applied Geophysics. She possesses strong technical expertise in ERT, GPR, and Borehole Logging, using Python and RES2dinV for data analysis and modelling. Ronak previously contributed to a SEG-GWB funded project at CSIR-NGRI and brings exceptional field acquisition and research skills to the Parsan team.
